There is some good news in the office! Well, I say it's good but I'm pretty sure my bank balance is going to disagree with me
There are Krispy Kremes in the SU and may I add that they are very, very good.
Food aside, last night was our international students karaoke. This is where our international students get to take part in the popular tradition of drinking lots of beverages and then making themselves look daft whilst someone records it for future blackmail.
Usaid got the ball rolling with a few of the attendees (when I say get the ball rolling, I mean look a plonker first so that the rest of us feel better about ourselves and sign up).

I then decided after 2 JD & Cokes that I was going to be the 6th members of Steps (if you guys want me to come on tour, let me know and I'll block it out of my calendar). Arty and Derrick also decided to have a sing song and killed Bruno Mars, although their attempt of 'Same Girl' was more of a glorious duet.
However, attentions were then turned back to Usaid as he and another student butchered Eminem to the point where Arty ended up collapsing in shame.

The best part of the whole evening though was having everyone come together regardless of nationality to sing along. I honestly think that this needs to be a regular occurrence for every Freshers from now on.
Anyway, I have a couple of meetings to help with depression amongst PHD student tomorrow so I will let you know how I get on.
