I really need to be more up to date on this 'blog thing'.

Firstly, if anyone of you guys saw a blank, I apologise. I published when I was supposed to have saved because I'm a 5ft 4inch numpty. Secondly, sorry it's been a couple of weeks, my MA is hard and I'm not going to lie, I struggle to find time to write at times. So I've been up to alot since I last wrote. Firstly, I been trying to sort out DMU Global after having some messages from not so happy teddy bears. I honestly don't know what is going on guys, I was told 3 trips per faculty and clearly either the goalpost has been moved or somebody can't count. I'm going to assume the former given we are at an academic establishment. I will let you guys what's going on when Leo comes back annual leave. I'm also doing a talk on Thursday about Postgraduate mental health and my own personal experiences. Mental health is something that means alot to me especially given the state I was in last term and I feel that we still need to do more to support PG student...

I always like a little thing on the side

I hate favouritism, in some ways the whole 'why does this uni/year/club get that and I don't?' comes in handy and anyone who knows me knows that I despise injustice. Perhaps this was the reason I felt a little jealous when I've seen photos of 3rd year UGs in New York whilst I'm sat in my little flat. 'But Kelly, you got to go last year' No. I did not, my course, unfortunately, had the short end of DMU Global lottery last year which meant I couldn't go to New York because of lack of opportunity, fortunately, this had changed for this year's cohort of English Crewtons. Nope. Unfortunately, when you get to PG land DMU Global is few and far between. It's something I have spoken about in multiple prior entries and it's why I'm constantly putting pressure on the University to make sure this changes.
