We danced all night to the best Freshers ever!

It's day 5 of #Freshfest17. Where has the time gone? Of course, it's not Freshers without the compulsory hangover as I'm finding out today.

Yesterday, I began my day by welcoming new students at their matriculation ceremony. You see alongside my officer stuff, I am also the chair for SCUBA so the committee is tasked with recruiting the youth. This recruitment drive turned into us breaking the record for the most people in one matriculation photo.

#SquadGoals

To those doing today's matriculation ceremonies, I count that we got 26 people in this photo. Your challenge is to beat that number. If you do, tweet me @DSU_PG and I will retweet any photos that break our record.

So when I wasn't doing matriculation, I partook in the Big Fat Love Leicester quiz. Team, Quiztina Agularia did very well in the Leicester and music rounds, however, the sports round was ultimately our downfall and therefore, we did not succeed in winning the free food. This was a grave shame and I'm not going to lie, I could very much benefit from a free Milly's breakfast right now.

So why do I have breakfast cravings? In my previous entry, I explained how we had certain perks as officers at the Freshers Ball. Apparently, these privileges expand to the whole of Fresher's week as we were shown to our VIP Booth and we were given free Skyy vodka and mixer.

These Freshers are mental!

The atmosphere was absolutely electric even if I sweating by an hour in. I don't know if it's my old age, but I swear every year, these Freshers get even more bonkers.

This afternoon, I am taking my cake walk at 3 pm. We have over 40 people sign up which was loads more than I expected. I'll be honest, I was only expected about 10. Anymore was going to be a bonus. Then tonight it's the Injunction opening party!

So until all that goes down,

Toodle pip,

Kelly
