Hello folks,
Firstly I must apologise for my shocking record when it comes to this blog over the past month. It kinda went a little bit south since my depression and whilst I acknowledge that it isn't an excuse, it is my main reason. So I'm sorry.
So onto what I have been up to since I last spoke to you all. Well firstly, the medication has been working a treat however, the days of Kelly drinking are now minimal and I am to avoid white wine with a 6 ft bargepole. Unfortunately, I learnt this during 1 particular dinner where I started with 1 glass of free wine and ended with me feeling like absolute crap the morning after, a random traffic cone and a message that I sent to Derrick insisting that he brought SCUBA a goldfish called Arty. Needless to say my experiences with wine have since been non-exsistant since and I plan to keep it that way.
So apart from wine issues, I have also been starting to put together a plan for 2018. I've been meeting with DMU Global to discuss their plans for incorparating postgrads onto their scheme (which in theory should be a given, since it is one of DMU's USPs but then again I'm not part of their buisness strategy yet) and I'm excited to announce that they have got some really awesome things in their pipeline including something for PHD students that I am VERY excited about but I shall explain that more in 2018.
I have also been setting up a forumn. These will also start next year and I am opening up the invitation to all postgraduate students. Regardless of if they are full time/part time/distance/ Masters/ Postgraduate Certificate/PHD/Etc. In fact, the more student variety I have, ultimatly, the better job I will do so if you are free on a Thursday evening feel free to come on down.
I am also planning a little side project but I will tell you guys more about it once it's official.
