You keep on lying, while I keep on winning.

Well folks,

It's about time I was positive after the elections isn't it? I mean I'll be honest, all this cheating and injustice has turned me into a right moaning Myrtle and those who are reading this, didn't pay for me to bitch and moan but rather tell you wonderful folks about all the wonderful things that I've been up to.

So what have I been up to (apart from analysing videos with a large quantity of wine)? Well I'm firstly delighted to announce that #DMUGlobal have finally listened to me after 6 months and are actually letting PGs go on a Mass Trip. Yes that's right. DMU Global are giving 20 students(both PGT and PGR) the chance to go to Berlin in September at a discounted price. It's the ultimate way for Master's students to reward themselves for their hard work and the chance for them to network with alumni from across the English Channel. Myself and Jonny (i.e. the bloke who does all the articles and videos) are currently putting together an article explaining what this will all entail and why I love Global as much as I do.

I'm also planning a PG conference that is currently pencilled in for the 17th September. It plans to be a combination of work presentation and networking which will culminate in a giant evening celebration full of food and beverages. It's a very exciting vision and I cannot wait to translate it from brain to event in September.

Speaking of September, I'm also starting to think of ideas for #FreshFest18 (oh sweet lord. I'm now officially old).  I'll be discussing this in further entries once I have a final idea of what on earth I'm doing. 

Needless to say, September is a very busy month for me by the looks of things and that's without my dissertation (eeek). However September is also looking very bright with lots of different things for PGs both old and new to sink their teeth into. Knowing that I'm creating those opportunities makes me feel god damn good you know and I cannot wait for you guys to enjoy them.

Right I'm having a few days off from officering folks. It's Easter, I have a website to design and lots of chocolate to consume.
